MINI-BEAM Expert Printed Circuit Board Registration
Prior to inspecting a completed populated printed circuit board, the board must be precisely located for a vision system. A registration hole in the circuit board, or another type of registration mark, is typically used as a locating device. The MINI-BEAM Expert plastic fiber optic sensor is used with a coaxial fiber and lens. This conbination offers a precise 0.25 mm (0.01") sensing spot at a 6 mm (0.24") sensing distance.
Objective:
To detect the presence of a registration hole on a printed circuit board
