PresencePLUS Stray Cap Detection
The PresencePLUS sensor uses a 16-millimeter lens, which is focused at the tapered bottom of a syringe body (200 mm sensing distance). If a stray end cap (or other object) is lodged in the bottom of the syringe, the PresencePLUS sensor receives a high white pixel count, and the syringe body is rejected.
Objective:
To detect stray end caps inside the body of a syringe assembly.
