PresencePLUS Stamped Logo Inspection
Metal steering linkage assemblies are conveyed past the PresencePLUS sensor, which inspects for the presence and the quality of a stamped logo. The PresencePLUS sensor lens and attached LED ring light are positioned so that the impressions of a stamped logo create shadows which are seen by the sensor as black pixels. Linkage assemblies which register less than the programmed number of black pixels are rejected.
Objective:
To verify the presence and quality of a logo stamped into a metal part.
