MINI-SCREEN Press Infeed & Rear Opening Guarding
The device used for reset of the light screen latch must be located outside of the guarded area at a location where the entire guarded area can be clearly seen. The controller is programmed for 1-beam floating blanking to ignore the infeed material loop. The front opening of the press is guarded using a Dual MINI-SCREEN system.
Application:
Perimeter guarding of the material infeed and backside of a press.
Guarding:
The infeed area and the rear opening of a high-tonnage press are guarded by a light screen used with corner mirrors.
Light Screen:
Long-range (18 m/60') MINI-SCREEN sensors are used with controller model MSDINT-1L2, which provides the latching output required for perimeter guarding. Two model MSM Series corner mirrors are used for guarding two sides of the press with one pair o
