PicoDot Wafer Mapping in FOUP
The two PicoDot sensors are positioned to sense the edge of the same wafer at the same time. If only one sensor "sees" a wafer edge, that wafer is most likely inserted at an angle, or "cross slotted."
Objective:
To detect semiconductor wafers which are improperly loaded into a cassette.
Sensor Models:
Two (2) PicoDot® convergent mode model PD45VN6C200.
