The FP3 sensor has high mechanical stability and a well-protected sensor surface. This renders it useful for high air velocity applications, as well as for air contaminated with solid particles. It has an excellent response to varying humidity conditions, and the fastest resetting rate of all sensors tested. The speed with which FP3 responds to varying humidity conditions and temperature limits are equivalent to European products. Dew point stability is outstanding, the best of all tested sensors. Long-term accuracy is good, although some drifting is noted, which may be corrected by recalibration. Solvent vapour resistance is excellent with Isopropanol and Glycerin. Resistance against 100ppm chlorine in air is limited due to corrosion of legs. There is just one competitive sensor with good chlorine resistance; all other sensors tested fail.
