PresencePLUS Seat Belt Caution Label Inspection
Caution labels are sewn onto seatbelt material at equal spacings. It is necessary to have every caution label on the same side of the material. The inspection is made just prior to automated assembly of a seatbelt. An SLE30 senses label presence, and triggers the PresencePLUS inspection sensor at the trailing edge of each label. The PresencePLUS sensor is programmed to sense even the lightest colour (tan) belt material as black pixels. A label, when present on the correct side, registers a high number of white pixels.
Objective:
To verify that a caution label is sewn onto the correct side of seatbelt material.
Sensor Models:
PresencePLUS P1B65Q, LEDRA140 LED ring light. SLE30B6VQ 30 mm slot sensor.
