D12 Robotic Wafer Center Detection
Three sensing points are used to determine the center of a wafer on a robot arm. As each beam is broken, the system controller reads the output. The robot encoder information is also available to the controller. The controller analyzes the outputs from the sensors and determines the location of the wafer on the robot arm.
