OMNI-BEAM Label Detection
OMNI-BEAM model OSBCVB converges the light from a blue LED source at 38 mm (1.5 inches) to reliably sense a white label on a kraft cardboard box. A model OSBFP uses individual plastic fiber optics in the opposed sensing mode to gate the label sensor to check for the label when the leading edge of the box is sensed. NOTE: The convergent mode sensor requires control of the distance from the sensor to the box. An OMNI-BEAM sensor head requires the addition of a power block to build a complete sensor.
Objective:
To detect the presence or absence of a white label on a corrugated cardboard box.
