MINI-BEAM Label Detection
The MINI-BEAM converges the light from a blue LED source at 43 mm (1.7") to reliably sense a white label on a kraft cardboard box. The fiber optic sensor uses individual plastic fiber optics in the opposed sensing mode to gate the label sensor when the leading edge of the box breaks the beam. NOTE: The convergent-mode sensor requires a controlled distance between the sensor and the box.
Objective:
Detection of the presence or absence of a white label on a corrugated cardboard box.
