PresencePLUS Pro Date/Lot Code Verification
An ink jet printer adds a date code and lot number to a box of cookies. When triggered by a convergent beam sensor, the PresencePLUS Pro inspects the printed characters and compares them to the date code and lot number that it was taught as “good.” If any character is different or is missing (in this case - an “N” is detected rather than an “M”), the sensor rejects the box.
Objective:
To verify the correct date/lot code on cookie boxes

PresencePLUS Pro Vision System, with LCF16 lens, LED ring light source, convergent photoelectric sensor used as a trigger
