PresencePLUS Missing Bottle Label Detection

Labeled beverage bottles are conveyed past two PresencePLUS sensors – one label on each side of the bottle flow. All bottles must have two clear labels: a large label on the body of the bottle and a small label on the bottle neck. MINI-BEAM 2 convergent mode sensors are positioned to sense bottle necks, and trigger inspection when a bottle is centered directly in front of the associated PresencePLUS sensor. The polarizing filters block direct reflection from the glass surface. A missing label results in a low white pixel count. The PresencePLUS sensors are programmmed to reject bottles which register less than 1,000 white pixels. This setting allows use of any label, without need to reprogram the inspection sensor.

Objective:
To verify the presence of two clear, pressure-sensitive labels on clear glass bottles – one label on each side.

Inspection sensors: Two PresencePLUS model P1B65QTrigger sensors: Two MINI-BEAM 2 model QS12VN6CV20 convergent beam mode.Accessory Lighting: Two model LEDRA140 LED ring lights, each equipped with model LEDRPKF polarizing filter kit.
