Q60 Large Container Sensing
Large items, such as containers destined for the cargo hold of a plane, travel past the sensor on a conveyor. Due to space restraints, the sensor must be mounted up to 2 meters from its targets and can be mounted on only one side of the conveyor. Because the Q60 can be configured to detect targets up to 2 meters away, it can easily detect the containers as they pass. Items or personnel moving on the far side of the conveyor are not detected, because the adjustable-field sensor is configured to ignore targets beyond a prescribed distance.
Objective:
To verify the presence or absence of large containers moving on a conveyor
