VS1 Glass Panel Detection
Glass panels are used in the production of flat panel displays. During the manufacturing process, the panels are moved from one process to another via a large cassette. Sensing the panels can be difficult, due to the specular nature of the surface. The VS1 series convergent sensor does not require absolute perpendicularity of the panel to the sensing beam. Both visible red and infrared LED sources are available.
Objective:
To detect the presence of a flat glass panel
