T8 Missing Candy Detection
The three adjustable-field sensors, mounted horizontally above the conveyor, each look down into one of three box conmpartments, or "nests." The opposed pair is mounted to either side of the conveyor, to trigger the adjustable-field sensors, then monitors the nest beneath it for the presence of a target at a prescribed distance, regardless of the color of either the candy or the nest liner. If a compartment is empty, the corresponding adjustable-field sensor sends an output signal.
Objective:
To inspect boxes of candies during packaging to verify that a piece of candy is present in each compartment
Sensor Models:
T8 opposed-mode emitter/receiver pair, 3 QS18 adjustable-field sensors
