FI22 Non-Contact Sensing of Liquid in Transparent Tubing

In many applications, the presence or absence of various liquids must be sensed without direct contact with the liquid. The FI22FP sensor can accomplish this, mounted inconspicuously nearby the liquid-bearing tube. The FI22FP is rated IP67 and can be applied at the point of sensing, for easy configuration and visual display of operation status. The optical fiber tips are mounted on either side of the transparent tube. Using one of three TEACH-mode procedures, the sensor is programmed to recognize either the presence or the absence of the liquid, using the two push buttons or the remote programming wire. The sensor also can be programmed for light/dark operate and to add a 30-millisecond OFF-delay pulse stretcher.
