OMNI-BEAM Full Case Inspection
Sonic OMNI-BEAMs feature true windowing, with reliable near-limit cutoff. The Sonic OMNI-BEAM sensors are adjusted to place the center of their sensing window at the bottom of the cartons. A bottle, when present, blocks the emitted sound energy from reaching the target. The output signal from the MINI-BEAM opposed mode receiver is used to gate the information from the Sonic OMNI-BEAM sensors. If an echo is returned to any of the three sonic sensors at any time during the gating period, the diverter blocks are activated to route the rejected box to a take off conveyor.
Objective:
To inspect open cartons to verify that they are fully loaded.
Sensor Models:
(3) OSBUSR Sonic OMNI-BEAMS are used to inspect for missing bottles. MINI-BEAM SM312E and SM31R opposed mode emitter and receiver are used to gate the inspection sensors
