Low cost
The GSA 105 miniature accelerometer is a fully compensated general purpose piezoresistive accelerometer. The accelerometer, which uses an ICS 3031 chip, is extremely easy to use thanks to its M5 mounting thread and shielded cable output. The GSA 105 comprises a micromachined silicon structure whose Wheatstone bridge format piezoresistors change their value proportionally to the acceleration applied. Built in air damping and mechanical stops provide excellent thermal specifications and overrange protection.
