PresencePLUS Date/Lot Code Presence Verification
An ink jet printer adds a date code and lot number to a designated location on the box. The PresencePLUS sensor counts the black pixels produced by the printed characters. If either the date code or the lot number is missing, the sensor counts a low number of black pixels and rejects the box. A convergent beam sensor is used to supply the trigger.
Objective:
To verify that both a date code and a lot number are printed on cookie boxes.
