MINI-ARRAY High Resolution Center Guiding of Opaque Web Materials

The emitter is positioned above the material, and the receiver below, to minimize attenuation of emitted light, which results from dirt buildup on the lenses. The center location of the material is transmitted to a process controller, using the unique "Middle Beam Blocked" measurement mode, available from the controller. The process controller, in turn, controls correction mechanisms, which maintain the position of the web.


Objective:
To monitor and maintain the position of opaque web materials.

Sensor Models:
MINI-ARRAY¢ç High Resolution model MAHE45A emitter and MAHR45A receiver, with model MAHCP-1 controller.
