MINI-BEAM Film Web Break Detection
The film web moves at high speeds with a great deal of flutter, which makes it diffcult to detect when the film has broken. Because the film is still undeveloped at this time, no visible light is a necessary component of this application. The specialty sensor uses infrared light to detect the film web breakage.
